The overview below provides an "at-a-glance" view of a common, consistent curriculum for Grade 9 English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math and Science programs of study. Charts provided on this webpage identify essential learning outcomes. These charts are organized around, and can be accessed by, both season and subject area.
Icons and colours are used to identify the seasons in which to teach these topics and themes. Many of the essential learning outcomes in English Language Arts as well as many of the skills and attitudes across Social Studies and Science topics should be taught or reinforced all year.
