Alberta Curriculum
Curriculum documents for the four core subject areas for Kindergarten to Grade 12 include connections to Nehiyaw (Cree) ways of knowing and being. These documents were created by educators from the Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Educational Authority, working with Elders and Knowledge Keepers and influenced by the learning needs of students in their communities.
Many of the identified videos and Nehiyaw suggestions can also be directly linked to Outdoor Education courses and High School CTS Natural Resources courses: Environmental Stewardship; Forestry; Primary Resources; Wildlife.
