Therapy dog at AHS -Introducing

WILLY!

Research has proven that therapy dogs can calm and support people of all ages. With this in mind AHS Social Worker Andrea Razi sought a puppy to train for work at AHS. Willy is ready to work and can't wait to meet you!

Willy is a smart, well behaved dog. He is a labradoodle witch is a lab and poodle mix. If you are allergic to dogs, no worries. Willy is hypoallergenic . That means that he has real hair just like us . You can't be allergic to him.

Each year after Wellness Day at AHS, students share feedback asking for more time and availability of therapy dogs for students. Prior to Willy joining the community at AHS, students had access to therapy dogs on campus during Wellness Day and for several hours during finals week. NOW we have our own resident therapy dog!

Here's an essay written by Andrea's daughter that shares some more information about WILLY!
