Ms. Nelson moved to Arlington in August from NYC with her husband and two boys. She was a librarian at a 6-12 public school in Manhattan for two years, and before that, she taught 8th grade ELA for over ten years. Ms. Nelson loves talking about books with her students and colleagues, supporting the incredible work of teachers, and empowering her students to take ownership over their learning and library initiatives.

Ms. Uffer shares her time between OMS and Pierce Library, but is with us on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday mornings to help students and staff find the books and information they need. She loves puns and enjoys creating colorful and entertaining book displays in the library.
