Book reports: When students can't find the book they want to read in the library, they can find one to read on Sora!
DEAR time: Allow students to browse Sora and read books during DEAR time.
Read Aloud: Pull up your favorite read aloud books on Sora and project them on your board so that students can follow the text and see the illustrations easily!
Non-Fiction: Read non-fiction books together as a class. Point out text features. Compare and contrast two different non-fiction books about the same topic.
Audiobooks: Play an audiobook and have students sketch/doodle while they listen.
Audiobooks to support all learners: For students who need extra support while reading, have the student listen to the audiobook while they read the print version.
Support Literacy: Sora keeps track of what students have read. Students have a running log of books they have read. Use Sora to track reading time and reading history.
