Welcome, Students and Families!

In French class, we work on developing our language proficiency by interpreting authentic texts, practicing interpersonal communication, and honing presentational writing and speaking skills.

French is a thriving modern language that has more speakers than ever. By studying French, AHS students become part of le monde francophone, the French-speaking world, which includes native speakers and people who learned French in school. French speakers come from all over the world. They are creating and communicating with language every day, and when you are not traveling, you can find them online, as well as in the Arlington and Greater Boston communities.
