I am originally from Madrid, Spain and now live with my husband, an MIT professor, and children in Arlington. We moved to Arlington from Switzerland, Geneva in 2009. I have six children, three already in college, one at AHS and two in elementary school. This is my fourth year teaching at Arlington High School, MA.
I graduated from UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and I am passionate about inquiry-based learning, languages, differentiated instruction and sharing languages and cultures.

In this course 2025-26, students will build off and expand upon knowledge acquired in Spanish 2A and 3H and will continue to develop reading, writing, and speaking proficiency through the use of authentic materials.
We will be speaking Spanish 95% of the time in class. It is OK to make mistakes. In fact, you will only improve your Spanish if you practice and make lots of mistakes in the classroom and outside of it. Let's have fun learning Spanish. I am looking forward to meeting you all!
