Library Borrowing Practices
Library Borrowing Practices
Our borrowing practices are designed to allow book borrowing to match growing readers and their increased sense of responsibility in caring for and keeping track of library books. No matter what age, all library books are due one week after the checkout date. However, readers may renew a book if they need more time to finish it.
All readers are trusted to choose books that are the right fit for themselves. If your child brings home a book that is not a good fit for your child or your family, simply return the book and your child may immediately check out another one.
There are never any fines or fees for damaged or lost library books. In the event that a library book becomes damaged or lost, please alert the library staff as soon as possible.
