Student Examples

We chose the following examples because they demonstrate the appropriate amount of care and effort to be considered high quality 7th-grade student work. 

These students chose interesting middle grade and YA books and closely followed the instructions to meet expectations. They either neatly wrote by hand or typed their work and included art that is colorful, aesthetically pleasing, and makes good use of space. The title, author, and genre are prominently displayed and there are no glaring spelling or grammatical errors.
