A new project has arrived! Yeah! Are you ready to learn about food? Teachers Lei and Ana love eating and trying new recipes. Would you like to play and learn with us?

To start with, we would like to show you a very short story about one of our favourite friends: Maisy the mouse. This time, Maisy goes to the supermarket because one of her friends is feeling hungry and there’s no more food at home!

Today, we are going to make a SAILOR HAT! These are the materials you will need:

-A long strip of white paper (that fits your head!)

-Scotch tape

-Coloured pencils, or coloured paper (to decorate)

-A paper napkin

We would like you to know that this wonderful project is coming to an end very soon. We will be working on "Under the Sea" until the end of this week. So, it would be a great idea if you could revise the previous activities on the site, sing and dance the songs the kids already know, and play with the online games we have shared with you.

On the other hand, a new project is coming to keep on learning and having fun. Wait until you see it ! You are going to love it!

ART TIME!

What a colourful turtle! Take a look at this beautiful sea animal. Would you like to have one at home? Let’s do it!

Materiales:

  1. Paper plate or rounded cardboard shape - un plato de cartón, plástico o un pedazo de cartulina blanca redonda.

  2. Different coloured squares - cuadrados de distintos colores

  3. Glue - pegamento

  4. 4 legs, a tail and a head

  5. Black marker

Instructions:

1- First, ask an adult to cut out 4 legs, a head, and a tail for you. // Pedile a un adulto que corte una cabecita, 4 patas y una cola.

2- Start sticking the coloured squares on the white paper plate (the turtle’s shell)// Comenzá a pegar los cuadraditos de colores en el círculo o plato blanco.

3- When the shell is done, stick the legs, head and tail on the bottom // Cuando el caparazón de la tortuga esté listo, agregale las patas, la cola y la cabeza.

4- With a black marker, draw the turtle’s face. Don’t forget to add eyes, a nose and a mouth! // Con un marcador negro, dibujá la cara de la tortuga. No te olvides de ponerle ojos, nariz y boca.

Art attack!

Today, we are going to make an octopus craft. This is what you will need:

Materiales

  • Toilet paper roll

  • Paintbrush and paint (of any colour)

  • Markers

  • Scissors

Instructions:

1- Start with a toilet paper roll. Grab any colour paint you want and cover the whole roll.

2-Once it’s dry, cut slits on the bottom using scissors.

3- Push it down towards the table so they spread out.

4- Decorate the octopus as much as you want!

Hello Iedidim and Jolmim! How was your long weekend?

Before we start, don't forget to say 'hi' with our favourite 'Hello' song . <-- Clickeá en el link.

Hey, fish! How are you?

To start with, we are going to make fish headbands.

To do this, print out the sea creatures you like the most. Paint them with the shiniest colours you’ve got. Ask an adult to cut them out for you. Then, cut a coloured cardboard strip that fits your head. Stick the animals you’ve painted so that they can be seen on your forehead. If you don't have a printer, you can draw some fish, cut them out and stick them.

Imprimí, pintá, y pedile a un adulto que recorte los animalitos. Luego, utilizá un pedazo de cartulina de color y recortala con el tamaño de tu cabeza. Por último, pegá los animalitos sobre la cartulina. Si no tenes impresora, podés dibujar pececitos como te salgan. Ready!

  • A printer

  • Colours (pencils, crayons, markers)

  • Glue

  • Popsicle sticks

Instructions:

3- Colour them. Then, ask an adult or an older sibling to cut them for you
