Henderson State University Department of Engineering and Physics -

A degree in engineering allows students to be competitive in today's marketplace. Engineering students acquire technology-based, problem solving skills in a traditional liberal arts context with an emphasis on project design and completion. Following graduation, students employ their skills in a wide range of technical careers, such as electrical engineering, computer-technology, research, and aerospace. The engineering degree is offered within the Department of Engineering and Physics (advising worksheet). We have recently updated our engineering curriculum to better align with accreditation requirements. We recently completed our Program Self-Study to begin the accreditation process through ABET. We also offer a minor in engineering. Sponsorship - Senior Technical Advisor for the team, donation of facilities, materials donations, and donation of a team trailer.
