Social Determinants of Health are:
"the conditions in which people are born, grow, work, live, and age, and the wider set of forces and systems shaping the conditions of daily life." (WHO)
"Health equity is achieved when every person has the opportunity to attain their full health potential and no one is disadvantaged from achieving this potential because of social position or other socially and historically determined circumstances." (CDC)
