Physics Club welcomes all students with an interest in physics! They meet at least once a week but have various fun events throughout the semester including Trivia Nights, Game Nights, and Movie Nights.
This is a great way to meet fellow majors and learn about the research being done by current majors!
Consultation hours are available for undergraduate students who would like help in problem-solving or understanding physics concepts for their courses. Graduate TAs are available Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm in PAS 372. The schedule can be found on the door for your convenience. If you need more assistance, please see the list of paid tutors below. They will be able to provide you one-on-one assistance.
Need help with your homework or getting ready for Quizzes and Exams? Use your time efficiently by studying with Graduate and Undergrads teaching assistants who are interested in teaching and waiting to help you.
Astrophysics Graduate TAs are available at certain times during the week to assist students with their courses - astronomy, math, and physics courses.
Astro Club is very active and one of the largest Astronomy Clubs in the United States.
Our meetings typically last an hour and consist of students giving presentations for various segments that highlight active research people are working on, current news in astronomy, astrophotography, and more. Outside of club meetings, we also have social events, such as star parties on Mount Lemmon, movie nights, game nights, and craft nights.
