My dissertation research explored educational leaders' within a PreK-12 context reflections of significant decisions that brought about change within their organization.  I anchored my work in Tuana's (2007) construct of moral literacy and expanded upon her framework by adding cultural responsiveness as an additional competency.

Within this framework, I further explored the construct of moral imagination using Godwin's (2008) definition and framework.  Moral imagination was essential in enacting change that was rooted in moral issues.

This research serves as a reminder of the importance of ethics training for school leaders, allowing them to lead with purpose.
