In order to foster the strategic alliance between the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and Sorbonne. A collaborative effort is being undertaken by the Instituto de Investigaciones de Matermáticas Aplicadas y en Sistemas (IIMAS), the Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI), and the Grupo de Ingeniería Lingüística of the Instituto de Ingeniería to organize a summer school in Mexico.
The core aim of this event is to promote knowledge and idea sharing among young researchers from both universities, with a particular focus on digital humanities and automatic text analysis.
The event encompasses various domains, such as digital humanities, medical humanities, natural language processing, machine learning, and more. Each team will showcase their research and conduct digital workshops centered around automatic text processing. These workshops will cover diverse topics like authorship analysis, information and concept extraction, and identification of subjective language such as opinions, sentiments, emotions, and more. Participants have the opportunity to contribute their data, ranging from literary texts, newspapers, publications, patient interviews, and beyond.
LOCATION
The sessions will be held in Building C at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Systems (IIMAS) on the UNAM University Campus.
