About Me (Professional)

This will be my 8th year teaching in Argyle, and my 22nd overall. Prior to coming to Argyle ISD, I spent 14 years at 3 different middle schools in Denton ISD. This year I am returning to my roots and teaching Social Studies for the 16th year. Prior to moving to the Theatre side in 2018, I hd previously taught all three grades in middle school, and served on several Social Studies curriculum and leadership teams in Denton and in state-level organizations.

I am so excited to have been given the opportunity to stay at Argyle Middle School and be a part of "building a new Legacy" as a RedHawk!

About Me (Personal)

My wife, Erin, is the theatre teacher and director here at AMS. While I was (naturally) always a volunteer to help with her shows, we have worked hand-in-hand together on the same campus and therefore on shows together since 2011. She is amazing at her craft and is an inspiration for me to be better in everything I do.

We have two kids- Emmy graduated from Argyle High School in 2026 and is starting at The University of Oklahoma this fall. She was a competitive dancer and was on the (National Champion) Majestics drill team all 4 years of high school. Our son, Ty, is a Sophmore at Guyer High School. He was also a competitive dancer for years, but is now pursuing musical theatre full time at Guyer.
