Hey Eagles! Welcome to Argyle Sixth Grade Center !
I am excited to begin my 19th year in Argyle as a Middle School Counselor! Before Argyle, I taught Middle School Math for 10 years in Birdville ISD. So this is my 29th year in Middle School education! Being with my family is what I love whether we are relaxing at home, watching TV, reading a good book, chilling on a beach, or cheering on the Argyle Eagles! Both my son, Rylan, and my daughter, Brynlee, have attended Argyle schools their entire public school education. Rylan graduated from Tarleton State University in May 2024. He is now working/interning at the RA Brown Ranch. Brynlee graduated at AHS in May 2024. She is studying nursing at Abilene Christian University.
I received my Bachelors in Education from Texas Tech University in December 1996. I received my Masters in Counseling from Texas Christian University in May 2007. In all my years in education, my focus has always been the students. As a counselor, my main goal is to make sure students feel safe, secure and confident in order to get through their school day.
