Welcome to STEM at JRE
Hi there! I’m Noel Nightingale, the STEM teacher here at Jane Ruestmann Elementary. I have spent over 10 years in education and feel so fortunate to now teach STEM to all of our Pre-K through Fifth Grade students. My goal is to spark curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and help our students see how science, technology, engineering, and math connect to the world around them in exciting and meaningful ways.
With a Master of Education in STEM and a passion for hands-on learning, I love creating engaging lessons and experiences that encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and explore. From designing inquiry-based classroom activities to hosting our much-loved STEM Family Nights that bring in community experts and interactive presentations, I strive to make STEM come alive for every student.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve worked hard to bring unique opportunities to JRE through grants and community partnerships, and I’m honored to have been named JRE’s 2025 Teacher of the Year. I truly believe that STEM learning should be fun, inspiring, and accessible for all students, and I can’t wait to share this journey with them—and with you!
I look forward to an amazing year of curiosity, discovery, and growth here at JRE!
