Class overview
Math 8 is the prerequisite for Algebra I. It is a STAAR tested class. Students will take the STAAR Math 8 Test at the end of the year. Students must pass the STAAR Math 8 Test in order to be promoted to 9th grade.
Correction Policy
Students can correct all tests and quizzes for up to half of their points back.
Corrections on homework are not accepted. A student may request to review any missed question (or concept) either as a group (or individually) in order to learn from his/her past mistakes and help him/her succeed on future assignments and assessments.
