All About Me
I am so excited to begin my sixth year as an Argyle Eagle! This is my 25th year as a Special Education teacher. Eighteen years of my teaching career were in LISD. I spent one year teaching 4th-8th grade students in a small district in Oologah, Oklahoma. Also, I have six years of experience as a Dyslexia Interventionist.
I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree. After working two years as a Social Service Director, I switched careers and became a Special Education teacher. My husband, Jon, and I are college sweethearts. We have been married for 26 years, and we have two amazing sons named Nicholas and Matthew. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies include photography, reading, playing games, watching movies, and riding motorcycles with my family. Also, I enjoy writing poetry in my spare time.
