Mrs. French's Class

Hi! I’m Mrs. Mary Claire French, and I’m so glad you’re here! Teaching is truly my passion, and I’m so excited for a year full of learning, fun, and adventure in 3rd grade. I’d love to share a little about myself with you!

My husband, Steven, works at Texas Motor Speedway, and we’ve been married for 7 wonderful years. We have two sweet boys, Miller (5) and Luke (2), who keep us on our toes! We also have two adorable pups, Brody and Ruby, who are Maltese-Yorkie mixes and very much part of the family.

When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my family. You’ll often find us visiting local coffee shops, trying out new restaurants, or just enjoying time together. I also love reading on my Kindle whenever I get the chance!

I grew up in Flower Mound but was born in Louisiana, which still holds a special place in my heart. I graduated from Marcus High School and went on to earn both my Bachelor's (2013) and Master’s degree (2014) from Louisiana State University - Geaux Tigers!

This is my 12th year teaching 3rd grade, and my 7th year here in Argyle. Before that, I spent 4 years teaching at Flower Mound Elementary. Third grade is such a special year, and I truly love being part of it. My mission is to create a joyful classroom where kids feel loved, challenged, and excited to learn every day.
