UIL Music Memory

Objective:

To allow students to further develop their love of music through extra-curricular competition!

Qualifications:

Grade Levels 2, 3, 4, 5

Competition: 

Teams comprising of 5 participants from each grade level. Scholars will memorize 10-16 pieces of classical pieces and compete against other schools at our Spring UIL Meet.

How to Practice:

• Use the music note icon to go to google slides and listen to the different pieces of music.

• Here is a link to a quiz to practice matching composers to major works/selections.

• If your student is in 5th grade, use notebook paper to practice writing titles/composers with correct spelling and punctuation.
