Hi! I'm excited to begin my 9th year in education here at Hilltop Elementary. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Educational Technology. Inspired by my mom, Anita Gumbert, who also works in Argyle, I chose to become an educator to make the same kind of positive impact on students' lives that she has made on mine and so many others.

I grew up in Argyle ISD and was part of the very first "graduating" class at Hilltop when it opened my 5th grade year. I was also a student in the honors math class, so teaching accelerated math at Hilltop is truly a full-circle moment for me!

Throughout my career, I've taught Kindergarten, 4th grade, and STEM at Hilltop, as well as 2nd grade for two years in NISD. Outside of school, I married my husband, Drew, in the fall of 2025, and we have a dog named Izzy, who keeps life fun!
