Hi Everyone!
My name is Kaylie Winfrey, and this is my second year at JRE—but my ninth year in education! I currently live in Argyle with my husband, our two boys, Deacon (3.5) and Shepherd (2), and our dog, Bingley. My husband is a firefighter for the Town of Little Elm, and we are so proud of him!

I graduated from the University of North Texas, but I’m a huge University of Florida football fan! When I’m not working in the classroom, I enjoy reading, watching college football, and spending time with my family. I’m also a big fan of coffee, Target, and Amazon!

My classroom is a place where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are part of the learning process, and every student is valued for who they are. I believe in mixing high expectations with a lot of encouragement, creativity, and even a little laughter along the way! :)

I’m passionate about helping kids grow—not just academically, but as confident, kind, and capable individuals. My goal is to make learning meaningful, fun, and just the right amount of challenging so students leave each day feeling proud of themselves!
