Morgan MacDonald

About me

Hello! My name is Morgan MacDonald, and I am excited to join the Scott Gibson Middle School family as the new 7th grade Art teacher and 8th grade Digital Art and Animation Teacher

Some fun things about me!

I graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Texas Go Mean Green!

where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Art Education with a minor in Art History. I am also EC–12 Art certified, and I am honored to begin my teaching career in Argyle ISD.

I've wanted to be an art teacher for as long as I can remember, and I feel incredibly fortunate to turn that lifelong dream into a reality. I believe every student is creative, and my goal is to build a classroom where students feel safe to explore new ideas, take creative risks, and grow as artists and individuals.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy creating ceramics, watching movies, and trying foods from around the world.

I am so excited to become a part of the Scott Gibson Middle School community and can't wait to get to know my students. I look forward to an amazing year filled with creativity, collaboration, and lots of art!
