• Multiple Performance Opportunities: Audition for and perform in a variety of school productions, from plays to musicals, gaining real-world experience in live theatre.

• Advanced Acting Techniques: Refine your skills through scene work, monologues, improvisation, and character development, using proven methods such as Stanislavski and Meisner. Explore physicality, vocal work, and emotional authenticity to create compelling performances.

• Directing Styles: Learn the art and craft of directing by studying a range of directing styles, from realism to expressionism. Practice script analysis, blocking, and leading your peers in scene work, developing your unique directorial vision.

PRODUCTION  THEATRE SUPPLIES:

Black Binder (portfolio)

Black Folder for scripts

Make Up Kit ($20-25)

You will also need to bring:

• Clothing for movement

• Quick Change undergarments (for productions only)

• Theatrical Design supplies as desired (colored pencils, markers, paint, etc)

• Pencil & Highlighter EVERYDAY

Fees:

• Thespian State Convention: $495

• Production fee = TBD

• Character Shoes: tbd

• Thespian Society Induction fee: $35 (for new national inductees only)

• Thespian Graduation cords/stole: $14-35
