Step into the spotlight with our Theatre Production course, designed for students eager to audition, perform, and take on leadership roles in multiple productions throughout the year. This immersive class is perfect for passionate performers who want to deepen their craft both on stage and behind the scenes.
Multiple Performance Opportunities: Audition for and perform in a variety of school productions, from plays to musicals, gaining real-world experience in live theatre.
Advanced Acting Techniques: Refine your skills through scene work, monologues, improvisation, and character development, using proven methods such as Stanislavski and Meisner. Explore physicality, vocal work, and emotional authenticity to create compelling performances.
Directing Styles: Learn the art and craft of directing by studying a range of directing styles, from realism to expressionism. Practice script analysis, blocking, and leading your peers in scene work, developing your unique directorial vision.
Production Process: Experience every stage of theatre production, including auditions, rehearsals, technical elements, and final performances. Collaborate with classmates on set design, costumes, lighting, and stage management to bring each show to life.

You will also need to bring:
Clothing for movement
Quick Change undergarments (for productions only)
Theatrical Design supplies as desired (colored pencils, markers, paint, etc)
Pencil & Highlighter EVERYDAY
Fees:
Thespian State Convention: $495
Production fee = TBD
Character Shoes: tbd
Thespian Society Induction fee: $35 (for new national inductees only)
Thespian Graduation cords/stole: $14-35
