Welcome to my website.

 I attended the University of North Texas and received a Bachelor of Science in Education. This will be my 12th year teaching at Hilltop and my 22nd in teaching.  I’ve taught grades Pre-K through 2nd.  I have certifications in Special Education and ESL. I LOVE teaching First Grade!

One of my goals in my classroom is for all students to feel safe and accepted for who they are.  We talk a lot about how to treat each other.  I think that students learn best in a safe and welcoming classroom.

I think that communication is the key to a successful year. The weekly newsletterw will be sent out each week. Important papers and student work will go home in the green folder daily.
