Kati Castellanos

About me

Hi! I'm Kati Castellanos, and this is my 23rd year of teaching and my eighth year at Argyle West. I absolutely LOVE second grade! Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade, and I've also served as a Gifted and Talented Specialist. Each experience has strengthened my passion for helping students learn, grow, and discover their potential.

My husband, Jeff, and I have two sons. Tyler (21) is a senior at the University of Alabama, where he is pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Mason (20) is also attending the University of Alabama and plans to graduate with a degree in History. We love visiting them whenever we can—Roll Tide!

When I'm not at school, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, volunteering at my church, gardening, and attending music and sporting events.
