About Me
I am an artist and art teacher, and I have taught both middle and high school art for 15 years in Oregon, California, and Texas. I have a BFA in Fine Arts from Oregon State University and Masters in Education from George Fox University. My greatest masterpieces are my 3 children, which my husband and I are raising nearby in Lantana. This is my 6th year teaching at Argyle Middle School and I love being an Eagle!
I am looking forward to an inspiring year with your student in my art class! We will explore, create, evaluate, critique, and appreciate works of art. Through the lens of art, your student will learn skills she or he can use throughout life such as creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration, self expression, and communication. I believe anyone can learn to create successful art as long as they put forth effort, keep an open mind, and try new things. I think you'll be amazed at what art your student creates!
