About me

I have been teaching for 18 years. I started in middle school and taught 6-8 math, social studies, English, and science. For the last ten years, I have been teaching high school science.

This is my first year here in Argyle. The last nine years I was teaching at Braswell High School in Denton ISD. I have taught anatomy, environmental systems, chemistry, biology, aquatic science and physics. I have a thorough understanding of how each of the sciences in high school connect to each other.

This is my second career. I was in IT for 12 years before I was a teacher. 

I have been married for 31 years and my wife is also teaching at Argyle High. I have three children who are all grown and out of the house. My oldest son is in IT and he lives in Lake Dallas with his wife who teaches choir at Lake Dallas Middle. My middle child, a son, is a firefighter with Denton Fire. My youngest is a computer developer in Austin.
