About me

I have been an educator since 1996, teaching in both private and public schools, with additional experience in real estate, corporate training, and team management. Originally from the Midwest, I moved to Texas with my family in 2015. I am passionate about making history come alive for my students because I believe it is more than a collection of dates—it is an incredible story filled with fascinating people, legendary characters, and lessons that continue to shape our world. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and relaxing by the pool with my husband and our three children.
