Hello! My name is D.J. Wright and I am excited to serve as your child’s ECSE teacher at Argyle South Elementary for the 2026–2027 school year.
I am an East Texas native, born and raised in Tyler, Texas. I began my higher education journey at Tyler Junior College before transferring to the University of North Texas, where I earned my degree in Early Childhood–6th Grade General Education with All-Level Special Education certification. Throughout my college experience, I had the privilege of working in a variety of educational settings, gaining hands-on experience with diverse learners and instructional approaches.
Most notably, I completed my clinical teaching within Argyle ISD at Argyle West Elementary. That experience confirmed my passion for supporting young learners and strengthened my desire to officially join the Argyle ISD community—something I am truly grateful for.
I am passionate about creating a classroom that is nurturing, engaging, and inclusive, where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. I am beyond excited to partner with you and support your child’s learning journey while building a fun and loving classroom community.

Howdy! My name is Mikah Snow. This is my fourth year in education, but my first year in Special Education. I graduated summa cum laude from UNT with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, listening to music, and going on walks (when it's not too hot).
Some interesting facts about me are that I love to sew & crochet, and I love watching anything sports-related, mainly football, volleyball, and basketball.
So excited for this school year and to work with some amazing kiddos!
Hi my name is Emi Sanders, and this is my fourth year working in special education. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and I’m currently finishing my master’s degree in Special Education.
My husband is a football coach at Liberty Christian, which is what brought us to Argyle. We lived in Missouri for the past three years, but we’re both originally from Texas.
Instead of sharing one interesting fact, I’ll share two! First, I was adopted from China when I was less than a year old. Second, my husband and I are expecting our first child in January, a baby boy!
