Hello and WELCOME to Argyle ISD's Dance Department.
I am so excited you chose to take this class this year and can not wait to see where the year takes us. This will be the program's 7th year in existence and it continues to grow each year. I know we are going to have a blast this year exploring the world of dance.
About me
I am originally from San Antonio but became a DFW Transplant for college while attending Texas Christian University. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with my focus being Social Studies and Dance. I have been fortunate enough to teach many students who have gone on to dance in the Texas A&M Dance Department, TCU Showgirls, TVCC Cardettes, Sam Houston Dance Department, Tyler Junior College Apache Belles, Texas State Strutters, Tarleton State Stars, ACU Pom Squad, and Cisco College Wrangler Belles.
Mrs. Martinez is looking forward to an exciting year in the Argyle ISD Dance Department and can not wait to see where our journey takes us!
