Tara Furr, M.Ed.

Hey Eagles! My name is Tara Furr and I will be the counselor for all 8th graders this year at GMS! I am so very excited to be apart of this new journey at Gibson MS!

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and spent all my years as an English Language Arts teacher at the middle school level in both Lewisville ISD and Northwest ISD. I received my Masters in School Counseling from Angelo State University and started as a school counselor in Ponder ISD. I absolutely love being a school counselor and am very excited to get to work with the students and families in Argyle!

I am also a wife and boy mom x3!  We are a very active family and love all things sports!
