About me

This is my 11th year teaching PE and my 11th year in Argyle ISD! 

I am a hometown girl- I moved to Argyle as a 5th grader in 1991 so I've seen all of the growth over the years! In fact, I attended the now SGC campus when it was K-8 back then!

Sports Background: I played 4 years of volleyball and a year of basketball at Ole Miss. I also played soccer and softball as a kid and ran track in HS at Northwest HS in Justin.

I love coaching PE and teaching kids athletic skills and challenging them mentally and emotionally in a safe atmosphere. We will have fun!

Coaching background: I've coached volleyball at all levels the past 20 or so years. I've coached basketball here and there for AYSA as well. I've even coached 3-4 year old soccer for i9 before. Herding cats!

Education background: I started out in Argyle at the SGC when it was called Argyle Intermediate as a PE aide for 2 years. I then was hired as the head PE teacher. I taught PE for 7 years total at AIS and then went and opened Argyle South Elementary. After being at ASE for 3 years I realized my passion is more for older students so I am so excited to be back at the SGC!

I am a mom to 2 awesome girls. One will be a senior and one is at Hilltop. On the side, I house/pet sit, coach club volleyball and give volleyball lessons.
