About me!
This is my sixth year in education and my third year with Argyle ISD. Prior to coming to Argyle, I coached basketball and track, while teaching algebra 2 at Frisco Liberty and then Converse Judson. I am the varsity assistant basketball coach at Argyle High School and a math co-teacher at Hilltop Elementary this year.
I grew up in Sonora, Texas and graduated from Sonora High School, where I ran cross country/track and played basketball and softball. I went on to run track at Angelo State and play basketball at Gardner Webb University in North Carolina, following injuries I transferred to Texas A&M University. I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. I am currently working on my Masters degree in Sports Administration from Midwestern University and will graduate in December! I am certified to teach Secondary Mathematics, K-12 Physical Education and K-12th Special Education.
Aside from sports, I enjoy spending time with family, activities outdoors and growing in my faith. I also have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Maverick that takes up most of my spare time! I am so excited for another year as an Argyle Eagle and feel so privileged to be a part of such a successful school district. I cannot wait to meet you and have a great school year!
