Mrs. Caldwell Librarian
I'll be your librarian at Argyle South!
I have so many books I want to share with you and I can't wait to start learning together and get to know what all of you love to read. I hope to make many memories in the library this year and help you grow in your reading journey.
I live in Roanoke, with my husband, my 16-month-old daughter, Chloe, and our Samoyed puppy, Kimmy.
Here are some of my favorites so you can know a little bit more about me:
Favorite book: Harry Potter
Favorite color: Blue, Pink, Grey

Mrs. Cartlidge-Library Assistant
Hi! My name is Mrs. Cartlidge, and I am so blessed to be working here at Argyle South Elementary alongside our fabulous Librarian, Mrs. Caldwell.
As a former graduate of Texas A&M University, and with hopes of becoming an English teacher someday, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. After that, I earned my English Language Arts and Reading 8-12 certification and taught English, Language Arts, and Reading at the secondary level for 6 years in Coppell ISD. In 2015, after my second child and a move to Canyon Falls with my family of four, I decided to stay home. But once a teacher, always a teacher, so after staying home for 5 years, I got the itch to step foot inside the classroom again. I began subbing in Argyle ISD in 2020 and fell in love with the elementary kiddos. Getting the Librarian’s Aide job at South is the perfect opportunity for me to step back into the schools permanently!
With no doubt, I can say the best place in a school is the library. I love to read, and while teaching, I cherished the connections I made with my students surrounding short stories and novels. In our library, we will invest in your child’s passion for reading and learning. We will fill them with love, surround them with exciting and impactful stories, and arm them with important life lessons.
