Tara Furr, MEd.

Hey Eagles! My name is Tara Furr and I will be the counselor for all 8th graders this year at AMS! I am excited to continue alongde your middle school journey with you and set you up for succes heading into high school!

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and spent all my years as an English Language Arts teacher at the middle school level in both Lewisville ISD and Northwest ISD. I received my Masters in School Counseling from Angelo State University and started as a school counselor in Ponder ISD. I absolutely love being a school counselor and am very excited to get to work with the students and families in Argyle!

I am also a wife and boy mom x3!  We are a very active family and love all things sports!
