Over the course of the year you will be reading a large number of great texts and speeches composed by great American orators. You will be asked to annotate these works and to compose entries in a dedicated journal on some of the more remarkable quotes that you will find within them. These works will typically be assigned on Mondays and due on Fridays for seminar discussion.
