Life Doesn't Always Offer a Straightforward Path

When there are no clear options to go forward, it may be time to look inward. Exploring how you think and how you feel more deeply may clarify your path and bring your options into focus. Often in therapy we seek the "illusive obvious." Referring to how we sometimes avoid obvious truths which may help set us free.

Uniquely and Powerfully You

No one else can ever experience your own experience. This gives you absolute authority to say what your experience is. You have all of the answers. In therapy we simply support you to access and embody these answers.

Relationships

Relationships bring the possibility of tremendous joy or tremendous suffering. Through practicing a relational psychotherapy it is possible to end isolation and build bridges between misunderstandings and bring back one of the greatest supports that life can offer.

Here and Now Somatic Experiencing

Body and mind and emotions are a triad that form who we are at any given moment. Sometimes breakdowns in communication between these parts can create disfunction. Through somatic work and a focus on the here and now, therapy seeks to restore communication between these parts and return the flow to experience.

Sense of Self

Awareness building is the primary method of change that I can offer. Limits to awareness and therefore decision making ability and understanding create limits to functioning and health. Building awareness of mind/body/emotions can help restore the natural creativity and response to the environment.

About Me

My name is Allan Rees and I offer therapy to individuals seeking help with a variety of issues. As a therapist I seek to bring a human connection as well as tools which assist you in mastering and understanding trouble emotions and situations. The value that I attempt to hold myself to the most is to be an honest and trusted professional who can be relied on to support mental health.

Therapy is for anyone who wants it. That's the way it should be. This is why I attempt to keep the cost minimal.

Full Rate: 100.00$ per hour

Low cost rate starting at 60.00$ per hour
