Welcome to our Year 6 Website!

This website is designed to help inform and support students and parents with home learning and explain its structure and requirements. I have tried to make this site as straightforward as possible but if you have any questions about its use please contact me via SeeSaw or email alennon@ardps.com

Exploring this website, you will find information and links to educational resources, plus suggestions for how caregivers and I can work well together to support student learning.

The Menu tabs at the top of the screen guide you through what your home learning could look like:

  • Students use Google Classroom as their main platform to submit work and communicate with their peers and teachers. There is further information about this platform, as well as a link to it, under the 'Google Classrooms' tab.

  • The 'Home Learning' tab provides a direct link to all learning activities provided by the Department for Education South Australia. This is the minimum amount of learning students are required to undertake during the next two weeks.

  • The 'Additional Resources' tab provides you with links to common resources we will use throughout the year. These are optional during the home learning time frame but provide students, who finish tasks quickly or are struggling with set tasks, with extra learning activities.

  • Parents can view a brief daily timetable under the 'Timetable' tab. More explicit instructions will be provided daily via Google Classroom.

  • The 'Contacts' tab, provides contact information about the school and your child's teacher.
