Dear Parents/Carers,

I can't believe that we are almost at the end of this academic year; where has the time gone! There has been lots of lovely enrichment activities taking place over the last week. From an immersive Roman day in Year 3, the Fire service visiting Year 2 to our whole school Art exhibition today which was a beautiful display of the children's hard work and talent over the year. Thank you to Mrs Dupont for the time and effort spent into organising such a proud event for the children to share with you, our parents and carers. 

Last week we were able to share with you key information to support your child as they enter a new school year in September. If you were able to attend these transition meetings we hope you found the information useful. All booklets to refer back to can be found HERE on the website for you. This week we held a transition morning which saw the children meet their class teacher and supporting adults ready for September; you will also have received a letter home informing you on your child's class and how the classes have been organised. It was lovely to pop in and out of the classrooms seeing the children settle in to developing new relationships in preparation for the new academic year. We have spoken to the children lots about natural changes throughout life and how these may cause us to feel and how these feelings are perfectly normal. We will continue to provide support for any children who are finding change more challenging however it was lovely to feel the positive energy throughout the school during this morning.
