Next Steps

Please complete the following Google Form to confirm your options by 3rd July. This will replace your original option selection that you made on your application. Every student needs to complete this new form (even if your options have not changed). Please refer to the revised Option Blocks, Entrance Requirements and Guidance Notes (below) before completing the form.

Please note that Geography now appears in Option Block B as well as Block E due to significant demand. So this subject may now be possible for you to study where it was previously precluded by a subject clash.

Guidance Notes:

• The majority of students will now study 3 A Levels. However, there is the opportunity for students with a strong GCSE profile to take 4 subjects.
• It is not possible to take the following subject combinations:
  • English Literature AND English Language & Literature
  • Computer Science AND IT Technical Award
• Further Mathematics is to be taken as a fourth subject and must be taken in conjunction with Mathematics A Level.
• Core Maths is a 1 year Level 3 Qualification equivalent to half an A Level which is taken in Year 12. It is to be taken as a fourth subject and cannot be taken alongside Mathematics A Level.
• All courses are subject to minimum Entrance Requirements which can be found on our website.
• All courses are also subject to demand and teaching availability.
• Final course selection will take place on Enrolment Day when the GCSE results are known.

We would usually hand out a Sixth Form Information Pack with lots of letters and documents for you to read and forms for you to sign before Enrolment Day.

This year we have pulled everything together online. Students and parents should take some time reading all of the documentation about Arden Sixth Form. Then we need all students and parents to complete separate online Google Forms to confirm that you have read and understood everything.

These forms will go live on 22nd June. Please can we ask you to then complete them by Friday 10th July. Please note, we won't be able to process your enrolment in August if these are not completed by the deadline.

In addition, students who are joining Arden Sixth Form from other schools will need to email us a copy of their birth certificate (photograph or scanned copy).
