Airport transfers (GRX) by a program director.
Spanish classes Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM taught by Blinn faculty.
Homestays are carefully selected taking into consideration your interests and preferences. Live conveniently within walking distance to class. Two to three students are usually placed per home and all houses have WiFi.
Meals are prepared by your homestay in order to further experience Spanish cuisine and cooking traditions.
Weekday cultural activities include city tours, an arabic plaster workshop, a flamenco performance and the Music and Dance festival.
City tours are included to the most historic neighborhoods: the Jewish Realejo, the Moorish Albaicin, and the Gypsy Sacromonte.
Guided visit of the Cathedral and Royal Chapel, resting place of the Catholic Kings, Isabel and Ferdinand, and the last Gothic monument built in Spain.
Granada is noteworthy for flamenco. Take a flamenco dance class and attend a performance to experience the awe of this rich musical art form.
Weekend excursions provide an opportunity to travel outside of Granada and see and experience other parts of Southern Spain. Excursions are included to Seville, Cordoba, Nerja and the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Typical Day
Morning: Breakfast and walk to Spanish class.
Midday: Enjoy lunch and siesta at your homestay.
Afternoon: Cultural activities and leisure time.
Evening: Dinner at homestay, relax, and a good night's sleep.
