Looking for a way to get your teaching license in Arkansas? The APPEL program offers a way to accomplish your goal of being a licensed educator. APPEL is a two-year track where you work as a teacher of record under a Provisional License while completing the program to obtain the final, Arkansas Standard Teaching License. The Master of Arts in Teaching program at UCA offers a flexible and rigorous program for individuals holding a Bachelor's degree and who are looking to move into a career as a licensed educator. We offer K-6, Middle Level, and Secondary track options, all of which are only 36 hours! This program is designed for you to obtain your Provisional License, while in the program, allowing you to work as the teacher of record in your own classroom!
