Mission: Campaign Zero is an American police reform campaign that consists of ten proposals, all of which are aimed at reducing police violence. Their current “8 Can’t Wait” platform is built upon these policies: 1. Ban chokeholds and strangleholds 2. Require de-escalation 3. Require a warning before shooting 4. Require that all alternatives be exhausted before shooting 5. Require officers to intervene when excessive force is being used 6. Ban shooting at moving vehicles 7. Establish a Force Continuum 8. Require comprehensive reporting.

Do you aspire to become a water activist and an agent of change? Join us for Isla Urbana's Virtual Water Activist Summer Program June 21st-25th, 2021! Isla Urbana's Summer Program started in 2016 and has continued to empower high school and university students from all over the U.S. in learning more about our work and Mexico's distinctive role with the world water crisis. Our aim is to grow awareness while helping to create agents of change! Although students generally spend a week in Mexico City to experience it, due to the pandemic, we are making it available virtually this year while adding unique online interactive experiences that are sure to make a lasting impact.
