Archbold High School Event Entry Information

Entry Gates for All Football/Track and Field Contests

• Entry for football and track and field contests will take place at the east side ticket booth (visitor stands) and the west side ticket booth (home stands).  Gates will open one hour before game time for football contests. Adult tickets are $8.00, senior citizen and student tickets are $5.00.

• Address: 600 Lafayette St. Archbold, Ohio 43502

• DIRECTIONS: Turn west off of Defiance St. (Route 66) onto Lafayette Street by the church north of McDonald’s. The stadium is on the north side of Lafayette Street next to the high school.

Entry Gates for All Soccer Contests

• Entry for girls varsity soccer contests will take place on the south side of Spengler Field.  The ticket gate is on Holland St. Adult tickets are $8.00, senior citizen and student tickets are $5.00. The stands for spectator seating is located on the east side of the field.  Gates will open one hour before contest start time.

• Address: Spengler Field. Corner of Holland Street and Bankey Avenue in Archbold.

• DIRECTIONS:  At the intersection of South Defiance St. and Holland St., turn west.  The stadium will be on the north side of the street, next to Ruihley Park.

Entry Gates of Volleyball/Basketball/Wrestling Contests

• Entry for volleyball, basketball, and wrestling contests will take place at the front of the high school.  There are two entry doors. Gates will open one hour before the start time. Adult tickets are $8.00, senior citizen and student tickets are $5.00.

• Address: 600 Lafayette St. Archbold, Ohio 43502

• DIRECTIONS: Turn west off of Defiance St. (Route 66) onto Lafayette Street by the church north of McDonald’s. The stadium is on the north side of Lafayette Street next to the high school.

Entry for Tennis Contests

• The tennis courts are located North of the high school.

• Address: 600 Lafayette St. Archbold, Ohio 43502

• DIRECTIONS: Turn west off of Defiance St. (Route 66) onto Lafayette Street by the church north of McDonald’s. The tennis courts are on the north side of the high school across from the bus parking lot.

Entry for Baseball/Softball Contests

• The baseball/softball diamonds are located at Archbold Memorial Park, which is across the street from the High School.

• Address: 200 Lafayette St. Archbold, Ohio 43502

• DIRECTIONS: Turn west off of Defiance St. (Route 66) onto Lafayette Street by the church north of McDonald’s. The baseball/softball fields are on the SOUTH side of Lafayette Street across from the high school.

Entry for Golf Contests

• All home golf contests are played at Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon. 

• Address: Ironwood Gold Course 1015 W Leggett St, Wauseon, OH 43567

• DIRECTIONS:  From Archbold High School travel east on Lafayette Street.  Lafayette St. becomes W. Barre Road.  W. Barre Road becomes County Road C.  Turn left (north) on Country Road 19.  Turn right (east) on OH-2.  Turn slightly right onto Country Road E. End at Ironwood Golf Course.

Entry for Cross Country Contests

• All home cross-country contests are held at the Archbold Reservoir, which is located next to the Archbold Water Treatment Plant.

• Address: Archbold Water Treatment Plant 700 North St, Archbold, OH 43502

• DIRECTIONS:  From the south, follow SR #66 through town until you get to E. Mechanic St (Mechanic street is before RR Crossing).  Turn right.  Follow the street until it dead ends, turn right.  Turn left on North St. and follow until you reach the reservoir.

• From the north, follow SR #66 through town until you come to E. Mechanic St. (Mechanic street is right after RR Crossing). Turn left.  Follow the street until it dead ends, turn right.  Turn left on North St. and follow until you reach the reservoir.
