What is Assisi on the Chesapeake?
This youth retreat is open to young people from 14-29 years old. It is an opportunity for young people to come together to celebrate their faith, get to know more about St. Francis and the Franciscan Friars, and have fun while making new friendships and connections. There will be two tracks- one for teens from 14-17 years old and another track for young adults from 18-29 years old. This retreat is ran by the Conventual Franciscan Friars on Our Lady of the Angels Province.
Where and when?
Both tracks will occur at Sandy Cove Ministries in North East MD from 3pm on Friday July 19th to Noon on Sunday July 21st. Sandy cove is located about 1 hour north of baltimore MD/BWI Airport. All participants/groups are responsible for their own transportation. however, if they need help getting to and from the airport, please email chrisdudek@me.com
How much does it cost?
The cost is $35 for all teen and young adult participants. It includes rooming, meals, and a retreat t-shirt. All chaperones can come free of charge.
How can I sign up?
Please sign up here by May 15, 2024. Space is limited:
All teens must come with a ministry site of the province and each ministry site must provide chaperones (at least 1 chaperone per every 10 teens of the same gender).
A detailed schedule, packing list, and permission slips (for teens) will be emailed to participants in the spring.
