How do I sign into Google?
Locate the email that you received from Google that was sent to your personal email for your @arbutusvfd.org account.
A. That email had a link within it that you must click within 48 hours of receiving it. If you did not complete the link within that time period, please complete the AVFD Google Account Password Reset form.
To log in to your Google account, you can:
Go to google.com or search for Google in your browser
Click the blue Sign in button in the upper-right corner
Enter your email address provided to you by the Google email.
Example: jdoe@arbutusvfd.org
Click Next
Enter your password
Click Next
You should not be logged into Google.
2. To access your AVFD email, click on "Gmail" in the upper right of the Google window.
Shown in the below image with a green square.
3. To access the AVFD Drive, click on the menu button and select "Drive".

How do I access Google Drive?
While you are logged into Google, click the menu button in the top right while logged into Google. It's the square made up of nine dots.
Now click "Drive". Now that you are in Google Drive, click "Shared Drives" on the left side menu. These are all the Shared Drives that you have access to.
If you need to create a folder, you can create it by clicking the "+ New" button on the top left and selecting "New Folder". Type in the folder name you would like to create and click Create. When you are ready to copy your file over, there are two ways to do this...
1. Simply just drag your file from your desktop into your browser.
2. Click "+ New" and select "File Upload". This will provide you the typical Windows explorer window to allow you to select your file that you wish to upload. Choose your file and select "Open".
