Arbury Community Centre - Terms and Conditions:

- A £100.00 returnable deposit is required to secure the booking. It will be banked and refunded by cheque or BACS as preferred. Part or all of this deposit may be used to cover any damage caused during the letting.
- The whole letting charge should be paid four weeks prior to the event in addition to the booking deposit which will be returned after the date of the event. The deposit cheque uncashed within a year will not be refunded.
- Should cancellation occur within two weeks of the event the letting charge will be forfeited but the £ deposit will be returned. If a replacement booking is secured it may be possible to return some or all or the letting charge.
Regular Users- A booking form should be completed by the user before the first booking.
- A £100.00 returnable deposit is required to secure the booking. Part or all of this deposit may be used to cover any damage caused during letting.
- Thereafter the user should provide the Centre with regular lists of the dates and times of their lettings.
- The Centre should be informed of changes in bookings in good time. Charges made in the current month will be included in the next months invoice.
- The user will be invoiced each month prior to the use of the premises. The invoice should be paid within 14 days.
Conditions- Users will be admitted to the room at the beginning of the booking period and should vacate the room at the end. - No extra time.
- The rooms should be swept and left tidy by the user. Furniture should be stacked. Kitchen equipment should be washed and put away in the cupboards as found.
- Furniture should not be moved from room to room except by arrangement with Centre Staff.
- The fire regulations permit 200 in the large hall and 50 in the small hall - these numbers reduce depending on the type of event and layout. Plea

- The fire doors are not to be opened when there is amplified music.
- Public entertainment events are governed by our Licence. This includes using the noise limiter power supply in the main hall - NO DISCOS ARE ALLOWED IN THE SMALL HALL and a total of 250 people in the whole premises. See administrator for more information.
- The entrance and Cafe area should be kept free of buggies and other equipment. This area is NOT FOR HIRE
- Cheques should be made payable to ARBURY COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
- You can pay directly into the Bank Account ARBURY COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION 09-07-05222257 -please make sure you include details of your invoice number.
Consumption of Alcohol- The Arbury Community Centre has a well equipped licensed bar called The Arbury Tavern. The Trustees of the Community Centre encourages users to book the Tavern if they wish to have alcohol at their event. The Tavern staff are always pleased to accommodate any special requirements.
- The Tavern may be booked at an hourly rate. Typical prices for drinks may be found on the web site.
- If the Tavern is booked - the meeting room has no charge
- IF YOU WISH TO CONSUME ALCOHOL YOU MUST USE THE ARBURY TAVERN LICENCED BAR
- WE DO NOT PERMIT USERS TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN ALCOHOLIC DRINKS
